Deevelyn Have folks tried Long Aid Activator Curl Gel. I have been natural for 2 years 11 months. Especially on my 4c ends. Naturelle's Volumax Freezing Spray is just that-- absolutely freezing. There are several other S Curl products that Luster recommends for use to keep the hair moisturized and healthy after the S Curl has been applied. I am not bothered by parabens either, I prefer a preservative to an infection, plus if it is good enough for blueberries, I don't mind either. If you have the curls, what's wrong with using a product to make them more defined? If there is the existing problem of dandruff, avoid putting on too much, and do not use hair conditioner after shampoo.

In my view if you use a hair product on your hair, you should consider that it will contact your scalp.

Most people use it for moisture. You need about a small handful. Maybe curl activator gives some people more defined curls - I am not one of those. The larger the barrel the looser the curls, and vice versa. So, I am completely clueless.
